TV meme yanked from
tehozza.
01. Name a TV-show from which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Red Dwarf, Whose Line US, The Norm Show, Green Screen Show, Friends, 15 Storeys High, Firefly...I can't think of any others, but I'm sure there's more.
02. Name a show you can't miss:
Nothing's really on at the moment - when Pushing Daisies arrives on ITV I'll become addicted to that, and if I miss The Simpsons at 6 I die a little inside.
03. Name an actor who would make you more inclined to watch a show:
At the moment, I'd watch anything if it had Jonathan Mangum and/or Craig Ferguson in it. And, of course, the usual suspects: Chris Barrie, Brad Sherwood, Tom Felton, Robert Sean Leonard & Hugh Laurie.
04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Umm...I can't think of anyone especially bad...I'm sure there are thousands of them, but none of them are reaching my memory right now.
05. Name a show you can - and do - quote from:
Anything I watch. I can incorporate quotes from anything into regular conversation, most of the time without even realising it. Whose Line, The Simpsons, Red Dwarf, House, Green Screen and Blackadder are the top ones I quote.
06. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Umm...I suppose I enjoy Green Screen more than most. And 15 Storeys High, but that's only because no one has ever seen it - if they did, I swear they would love it. GET THE DVD NOOOOW!
07. Name a TV-show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Red Dwarf, definitely. And 'Cleveland Rocks' from The Drew Carey Show. Animaniacs. Fairly Odd Parents. Firefly. I have a huge collection, and I sing along with just about all of them, but those are my favourites.
08. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
15 Storeys High!
Seriously, if you've ever bitched about something relatively insignificant, this is the show for you!
09. Name a TV-series you own:
Well, of the ones that have been legally bought rather than illegally downloaded, I would say I have in completion: Red Dwarf, 15 Storeys High...yeah, that's it. Green Screen, Whose Line US, Firefly, House, The Norm Show, basically everything else, I have illegal copies of.
10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops in television:
Oh, what's his name...he used to be in BoyZone, I think. Kieran something. He was in Coronation Street, and he was pretty damn good.
11. What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
I have many different favourite series...this might take a while...
The Simpsons: Very hard to choose, but probably 'Marge Be Not Proud' is my favourite. I love the episodes that are funny and touching at the same time, and the Bart/Marge episodes are always pulled off well.
Whose Line: Oh, any. Particularly any with a certain Mr. Sherwood. They're all equally hilarious, I can't choose just one.
Red Dwarf: I'm tempted to say 'Rimmerworld' for the obvious reason, but I won't. Gosh, this is hard...I think I've probably watched 'Marooned' more than any of the others.
House MD: 'House vs God' is good, because it was pretty much the first one to have a Wilson-centric plot. 'Frozen' from season 4 turned out to be nowhere near as crummy as the rest of the season. But I think the 'Euphoria' two-parter has to get it - Omar Epps displayed some truly astonishing acting skills there.
The Drew Carey Show: 'The Dog and Pony Show', no question. There is nothing - I repeat - nothing funnier than watching Diedrich Bader, Ian Gomez, Drew Carey, Craig Ferguson and Ryan Stiles dance and strip to BTO!
Okay, 5 is enough...
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Numb3rs. I also quite want to see Dirty Sexy Money - it looks so bad, it might be quite good.
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Not really...I stopped watching season 4 of House because the quality had dropped, but I'll start watching it again once it starts airing here. The Simpsons almost lost me (*gasp!*), but the last two episodes were so brilliant, they've reeled me back in.
14. Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
The last episode of everything always makes me cry. Red Dwarf, Firefly, Friends, The Office. There's one episode of something that makes me break down completely, but I've forgotten what it is.
15. What do you eat when you watch TV?
Whatever I've got on hand.
16. How often do you watch TV?
Whenever I'm not doing something that requires energy.
17. What's the last TV show you watched?
The Drew Carey Show.
18. What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
Comedy/Dramedy.
19. What was the first TV-show you were obsessed with?
The Animals of Farthing Wood! ^_^ I had all the episodes on tape until very recently. Definitely one of the best kids' shows ever.
20. What TV-show do you wish you never watched?
Flog It. Ugh...my mum watches it when she gets in from work, and I once joined her. There's 45 minutes of my life that will remain forever dead in my memory. A little advice to TV shows - only try to be one thing at a time. If you try to be an antique program and The History Channel at the same time, you FAIL.
21. What is the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Rex the Runt. It was a claymation show about some weird dog-like things. The only thing I can really remember is that they were all orange, and the little one (who I assume was Rex) could only say the word 'trousers'. I can't decide if it was really funny or really not funny.
22. What TV-show scared you the most?
The reavers from Firefly freak me the hell out. I can't even put on a pair of my jeans without closing my eyes because the brand name is too similar to 'reavers'.
23. What is the funniest series you have ever watched?
I refuse to answer that question, it's too hard.
