I'm starting to realise that I'm going to fail this maths exam...

We've gone over the whole curriculum now, and we're on to practice papers which is good, but it's still taking me forever to figure out what I'm supposed to do for each question - in today's lesson I spent half an hour on question 4, and I definitely would have taken longer if my tutor hadn't helped me out a little. Considering the exam is only an hour and a half, this is pretty bad progress. I'm revising my ass off, I don't know what else I can do.

There's two weeks until the exam. I can keep revising and doing the practice papers. There is nothing else I can do to help myself except hope that something in my brain clicks and it all comes together somehow. *stresses*

Of course, it isn't the end of the world if I don't pass - I can easily retake the exam next year, along with core module 2, although this obviously means a greater workload than if I was just doing core module 2...but if that's what it takes, that's what it takes.

(I still can't stop listening to Riverdance! What the hell is wrong with me!!!)

hmmmm seems this maths block is cause an unnatural love of riverdance :P

*huggles* I know exactly how you are feeling hun, i did maths A level, it seems fine in the lessons and you find it easy, then as soon as theres a paper in front of you, you have no idea what to do. I swear the questions are just badly worded.
If you need any help with anyhting hun, you know where i am, i still have my calculator and books with me :P I like doing the simpler stuff every now and again to relax :P

I swear the questions are just badly worded
They so are!! How does "find out if y is increasing" translate into "find the possible values of x"???? GAH!

Thanks for the help, sweetheart! I probably will be taking you up on that promise in the near future :P

Sweetheart, you'll be fine! Remember what you told me? You're revising, there's probably a lot more going in then you realise - and two weeks is quite a long time for revision.

You're gonna rock that exam my darling, I know you will.

Just try to stay calm (says the girl who last week was running around in circles and wishing she'd taken "communication studies" instead) - and like you said, a fail isn't the end of the world. But do go in there and say to yourself "I am gonna fricking ace this exam!" -

Heh, it does seem rather inconsistent of me to be giving revision tips one minute and panicking about revision the next XD
