I just want to give a big hug to the mods of wliialove for pushing Brad week back a week, so it won't clash with my exams - that's honestly one of the nicest things anyone's done for me, and I love you all SO MUCH for doing it!

I am officially WIPED! Today I have:
- Done a little bit of maths revision
- Been for a forty-five minute, mostly-uphill, bike ride
- Thoroughly cleaned and tidied my bedroom and en suite
- Made and uploaded 51 icons
- Done my Almost-Daily Meme
- Planned a trip to Cornwall with Helen
- Started to plan a trip to Paris with Tom
- Laughed my ASS off at things people sent me over MSN and past fanfiction efforts
- Finished and posted chapter 2 of A Tale of Heroism
- Listened to the Riverdance album about 5 billion times - and I'm STILL not bored of it!!!
- Started my 'talk in life and literature' essay...but I am far too tired to do any more

Okay, everyone, I have had an idea that could very well get me out of this dry-spell of writing I've been having lately - and you can all help ^_^

While I was at work this morning, stacking shelves and dropping the stock, I started forming the beginnings of an original fiction. It's great as far as the end of chapter one...but then I got stuck. As always, I couldn't think of a decent plot to go along with the idea.

SO...

I thought I would post the first chapter here, once I've typed it up, then you guys can comment with a possible direction for the next chapter to go in. It can be as general or descriptive as you like, as long as there's enough for me to work with. I will go with the first idea that I like, and try my best to write it. This will apply to all chapters until I'm confident enough to go it alone (although I may be begging for help at any moment, so eyes peeled!).

Anyone can chip in at any time, but I'd rather like people who are interested to leave a brief note here, just so I know who I can expect to be offering ideas. :)

Last night was open evening at my college, and I had to play my sax - the solo I was panicking about actually went okay (forgot to record it, though - sorry Empress!) and Emily gave me a hug afterwards! Then she sang Meadowlark, which is possibly the most gorgeous song ever, and it made me cry. Again. But I got another hug, so...^_^

Dan is a bastard, though. I brought a Taxi bar with me, because I knew I'd be hungry after playing. I was eating it in G9 and he came along, so I offered him a bite - he ate about 2/3rds of the bar in one go! I hit him quite hard. And now he owes me a cookie.

Later that evening I put my hand in my pocket, but I got my thumbnail snagged on my jeans and ripped half of it off. The nail, that is. If you winced just then, multiply that by a million and you'll just about understand how I felt. I didn't scream or cry, though, despite it stinging like all fuck. Now there's a big ole plaster over it, and it's VERY sore to touch. Anyone know what to do when you're missing half a nail? DO you just let it grow back?

Bex, Sess, Tom and ZK - Red Dwarf commentary - "I don't want any!" - 1:16 - I defy you not to laugh at this, even if you haven't got the first clue what's going on. My laughing and Bex sporadically going "Oooh" should be enough to set you off! Some strong (and quite loud) language.

I've spent the last half an hour or so on an anagram site, where you type in a word or phrase and it'll produce all the anagrams. It's a lot more fun than it sounds! I've found some great ones!
